Match Making by Himanshu Shangari

In this article we will discuss about some of the important aspects an astrologer should analyze before predicting a good match between two persons. But first let's find out about a couple of popular methods adopted for Match Making or Compatibility in the western countries and India.

When it comes, to compatibility or match making, Sun Signs are given a great importance in the west. The concept of compatibility on the basis of Sun Signs has become so popular in the west that even common people are found talking about it and asking questions about it. Like I'm a Leo, Am I compatible with a Virgo? Are Capricorns a good match for Geminis or not? Males with which Sun Sign are the best and Males with which Sun Sign are the worst and likewise which Sun Sign females are the best and which one are the worst. So much talk about compatibility and only the placement of Sun is considered or sometimes the placement of Venus is also considered. And many people believing in this theory only depend on some set dates of every month to predict the Sun Sign of a person and do not actually bother to take a look at the horoscope and check whether the Sun is placed in the sign indicated by the dates or not. And this becomes more important when the Sun is leaving one Sign and entering another Sign. In this case the Sun Sign of a person predicted just by considering his date and month of birth may not be his actual Sun Sign i.e the sign in which the Sun is placed in his horoscope or natal chart. And coming back to the compatibility analysis made by looking at Sun Signs alone, this is perhaps a concept which uses a very limited scope of astrology which is otherwise a very vast science and has so much more to offer than just one sign, in my opinion. I mean how can you divide the all the people of the world in 12 categories and then follow a very simple maths to calculate the compatibility. It simply doesn't work this way. There are a great number of people in the world having different personalities and characters even with the same Sun Sign. So it does not make much sense to predict the nature of a person or compatibility of a person to the other person based on one sign alone. Each and every planet, sign and aspect of the horoscope should be checked for their good or bad effects, the strength of the good and the bad Yogas formed in the horoscope and the time of impact of these Yogas should also be checked before predicting any match making. I have witnessed many cases where the matches were made on the basis of Sun Signs alone and in spite of being fully compatible according to the theory of Sun Signs, they fell flat as the most important factors ruling Marriage and Compatibility in their horoscopes were not favorable for the couples. So once again, I would emphasize on the importance of analyzing the complete horoscopes of both the parties involved before predicting any matches or compatibility.

And now let's move on to the most popular belief for match making in Indian astrology. This is probably the most touchy and one of the most predominent beliefs in Hindu Marriage System known as Guna Milaan for Match Making. In this system the natal placement of the Moon is seen in both the Horoscopes and then points known as Gunas are assigned on the basis of matching of the following descriptions in the Horoscopes :

1. Varana 2. Vasya 3. Tara 4. Yoni 5. Graha Maitri 6. Gana 7. Bhakut 8. Nadi

The points or Gunas are assigned out of a maximum of 36 and a score below 18 is not considered good for Match Making whereas the Match is considered better and better as the Gunas increase in number. 36 out of 36 would be a complete match according to this system, and then the Gunas from 35 to 30 are considered very very good, 30-25 is very good to good and then 25-20 is considered acceptable. The system works this way and if the Gunas are a higher number, the Match is said to be a good Match and if the Gunas are a lower number, the Match is not considered a good Match.

This system has been continuing since the ancient times and with all due respects to the methods and techniques of this system, I do agree to this system. But my question is whether this system alone is sufficient for predicting a happy Married life or not. In my opinion, it is not sufficient alone just like in the case of Sun Signs. It can be and should be used as a supplementary system in addition to some other very important Aspects which are to be seen and analyzed from both the Horoscopes to predict the match accurately. We shall now take a look at these aspects of Match Making which should be given their due importance if a happy Marital life is to be predicted.

First of all, an Astrologer should check whether there are the signs of a happy Marital life in both the Horoscopes. For example if one of the Horoscopes is indicating a probable divorce or a second marriage or in the worst case it is indicating a long disease or even death of the spouse due to the presence of a major defect or bad yoga like Manglik Dosh or Kaal Sarp Dosh, then in spite of a very high number of Gunas, the Match is not correct. Then longevity of both the partners in general, the financial stability and future of the earning partner or partners as seen from Horoscope, analysis of any major diseases to either of the partners if there are any, the ability of both the partners to produce a child and general compatibility of both the partners are some of the important aspects which are to be verified properly before predicting a Match Making. If these Aspects are ignored or the Astrologer does not know how to check them properly, the Match Making is not correctly predicted in my opinion.

I have seen the Horoscopes of many married couples who were assigned a number greater than 25 Gunas when they did the Match Making, yet their married life is very upset or in some cases the divorces had already been filed when one of the affected parties approached me. If the matching of Gunas alone was sufficient, then why did all these things happen. This is because of the fact that the Horoscopes were not compatible with each other on the most important grounds or Aspects mentioned above. I will explain this concept further with the help of a of a couple of case studies.

When the parents of a Male approached with the Horoscope of both their son and a girl whom their son was in love with and wanted to marry, it was told after the analysis of the Horoscopes that all other aspects of Match Making were good but the girl should be suffering from some serious problem in the region near her Uterus and due to this problem she may not be able to conceive a child and in future she may face some serious disease in the Uterus region. It was also told that this problem could be controlled or even cured with the help of some specific Gemstones as it was still in the early stages. When the parents of the boy inquired about this problem from some relative of the girl, they came to know that the girl was currently suffering from a serious irregularity of Periods and was experiencing pain and excessive bleeding. Now the girl is wearing the Gemstones and she has recovered a great deal from her previous condition and is getting better and better as the time is going by. And the couple is marrying in the very near future.

Mentioning one more case of a male who is around 50 and has already married 3 times, with one wife getting divorced and the rest of the two dying with serious diseases. And all the three Matches were made by Guna Milaan alone. This male wanted to marry for the fourth time, and was told to wear some Gemstones and do some remedies or otherwise face the same consequences in the fourth marriage in spite of passing the Guna Milaan test. His would be wife was also told to wear a couple of Gemstones and do some astrological remedies to survive the marriage as this man's Horoscope was indicating serious troubles in married life, divorce or even death of the spouse because of the presence of a strong Kaal Sarp Dosh in his horoscope which was primarily affecting his marred life and due to which one of his wives got divorced (whom I consider lucky) and the other two died with serious diseases.

To summarize it is advised that match making or compatibility should be predicted only after analyzing both the horoscopes completely, keeping the most important factors to be checked in mind.

Do Not Sneer At Astrological Match Compatibility Reports by Carlton Leigh

Astrological match is nothing more then the use of astrology to figure out whether two individuals can exist together in harmony or not. For the many that believe in astrology, astrology compatibility is an extremely important match-making pointer. It is possible to take advantage of the compatibility reports to determine if your relationship with your loved one is going to be discordant or harmonious, whether it will be filled with cheerfulness and reciprocated understandings or full of needless stress, spats and arguments.

One of the ways to establish astrological compatibility is through the zodiac sign. These signs are linked to the four traditional elements - known as fire, earth, water and air - which pass on their properties to those that share the zodiac sign with them.

The qualities of fire is represented in those whose sign is Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, air is visible in Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini; water is found in Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo, and finally, earth is revealed in Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.

The compatibility of these traditional elements will decide the compatibility of zodiac signs too. An example being as earth is most compatible with water, therefore people belonging to the signs Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo with share a more preferable match ratio with folks belonging to the signs of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. However, they will not be as compatible with the remaining sun signs, and therefore necessary to make certain concessions and fine-tuning to ensure that the relationship will work. Similarly, air would not be compatible with fire. This means that people with a zodiac sign of Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius will surely mix better with others whose zodiac signs are Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini.

There is a variety of astrology reports. You can have your astrology compatibility tested with any relationship that you may be in, including your business partners or friendship forecast. Much will depend on how you use astrological match compatibility reports.

FREEDOMJOURNAL PRESS: TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON:We Remember Michael by Carl A. Patton

PART 4: FREEDOMJOURNAL PRESS: TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON www.freedomjournalpress.com carlapatton@comcast.net

Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you. We bring you greetings from our Father God Almighty and His son our Savior Christ Jesus, blessed also is the Holy Spirit that moves and guides us the straight and often narrow way. As we continue our sojourn all along the Watch Tower we look out and see that Michael Jackson was "The Greatest Entertainer of all Times." Muhammad Ali was (is) the greatest Heavy Weight fighter and champion of all times. However some would dispute this however none come disputing that Michael Jackson was a musical genius the world has never seen.

It is also written that the good outweighs the bad. There was once a leader of a Black Nationalist organization that cleaned up countless Black men and women from drugs, vice and lives of crime. He was charged never convicted with infidelity and promiscuous behavior bearing children out of wed-lock however the good crushed the bad and one has to be real and just as sure as the wind blows. There was also a great martyred Civil Rights leader that was also charged with the unfaithfulness as he also was alleged to have slept with women other than his wife. But there was nothing else to report as this great man became one of the greatest humanitarian leaders of all times. Recently a former NFL Quarterback was murdered and it seems to imply that he had an extra martial relationship with a woman that was found slain beside his body. However he gave back to the community and from all accounts had a sincere heart of love for the community and all people. This most likely was one of his problems as many people cannot separate love and kindness from an alleged state of weakness.

Meanwhile with the passing of Michael Jackson who has moved from the lowly ranks as the "King of Pop" to the "Greatest Entertainer of all Times" has shook up the world. No one in the history of mankind has attracted the media frenzy and the unprecedented outpouring of sentiments of love as did Michael Jackson when he departed this life June 25, 2009. I am reminded of Sammy Davis Jr. as being a multi-talented entertainer. Although his talent was extraordinary he did not live in the same era as Michael Jackson. Nor did Mr. Davis have the world-wide appeal as Michael Jackson. Therefore are there any parallels with Michael Jackson and President Barack Obama?

Is there something to be learned in the election of Barack Obama to the office of president and his world-wide appeal and the world-wide appeal of Michael Jackson? Are racial barriers falling as we speak as people are becoming more aware of the mood of love and mutual cooperation among the people of the world for the survival of humankind? Meanwhile we would be remiss here if we did not note the following. Is President Barack Obama on the way to being "The Greatest President of all Times?" Stay focused and follow the Spirit. We declare then you will then be able to see as much as the blind man who is not as blind as you may think.

We Remember Michael

Beloved no one knows the burden of another man. Who can speak of what sent one to cosmetic surgeons? But most know that show business has always presented beauty and good looks as only skin deep. However Michael had love deep inside and this is what we saw on the outside.

Never did he defect from his race, his culture as no one ever denied that his lineage back to "The Land of the Blacks" gave him the instincts to move as no other had ever moved in dance filled with songs that penetrated all races and broke down any barriers as to language, custom as the tradition of love is universal.

I saw someone as they reached back to try to claim something from a lost childhood and to show love to those young at heart. So much so that there was a dream that became true at "Never- Land" as here was a paradise for the young and the not so young. I remember also the great feeling to know that Michael came from my community. He made us proud.

He also instilled pride in our hearts and minds as he spoke to the world and the world listened. What demons follow success as the vultures look around every corner giving bad advice seeking to devour the young and the sincere at heart. But we declare as it is written that there is no heart stolen that is pure and sincere.

We remember and I remember Michael that genius is always mis- understood. Also we come realizing that those that conform to all things are never noted as great thinkers and any contributions that follow are limited and bland soaked in the ordinary that is boring even for the slow tortoise as the fleet of foot and mind go by in a flash and taking in the Wind.

Peace and Golden Paradise, Carl A. Patton a willing slave and servant of Almighty God and Christ Jesus writing for the FreedomJournal Press a God Fearing Free Press 16 July 2009 in the year of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Do Miracles Really Happen? Read This Miraculous Story by Michael Lee

A lot of people believe that miracles really happen. Of course, these things don't just happen to everybody. Sometimes, it's just the story of a friend of a friend. Other times, it's a story from a total stranger.

Personally, I believe in the existence of miracles. There are a great many stories out there that tell of such impossible feats and experiences. Sometimes, these miracles appear in the form of one's faith in God. Sometimes, these miracles appear in the form of one's strong will.

But do miracles really happen?

Miraculous True Story Of A Mother and Her Children

Stories of miracles performed by God are not uncommon. However, one never gets tired of reading or hearing about His miracles.

This particular story is that of a mother and her twins. One is a boy and the other is a girl. When the mother gave birth to these two special children, everything seemed to be okay. However, as months passed, she noticed that while her male child was growing like a normal baby should, her female child wasn't. The latter was unresponsive and couldn't even eat properly or manage a crawl.

The mother took her kid to the hospital where the baby girl was diagnosed as being hypotonic. According to the doctor, her development was three months behind her twin brother. The possibility of normalcy seemed low. Would she be able to crawl, much less walk? It seemed too much to comprehend.

Do Miracles Really Happen When You Have Faith in God?

One's faith in God has been known to make miracles happen. Such events have been recorded in the bible. Even now, God's healing powers seem to know no bounds.

The mother prayed hard to God for her baby to get well. Her faith was strong. Lo and behold, the next morning, her baby girl seemed different. She was much more responsive than she had ever been in the last few months. The mother took her baby back to the hospital where they couldn't find anything wrong with her. The doctor couldn't pinpoint what exactly made her better either.

Of Miracles and Such

So does this answer the question, "Do miracles really happen?" The answer to that depends on how much faith you have in the greater power. Miracles can happen through a divine intervention or law of attraction. Sometimes, man is used as an instrument of change.

Some doctors, despite their scientific background, also believe in miracles. In their profession, it's hard to miss when something biologically impossible happens. When a person on a deathbed suddenly gets better... When a child diagnosed with very weak muscles suddenly becomes normal in 24 hours...

If after this article, you still remain a skeptic, why don't you try reading more stories of healing and miracles? If you still don't believe that miracles really happen, perhaps now is not yet your time. Perhaps one day, when you yourself witness a miracle or have one happen to you, that is the time when you'll learn to believe.

Embracing the Shadow - Inner Peace Tip by Catherine VanWetter, MSW

Debbie Ford, who wrote the book, The Dark Side of the Light Chasers, has finished a movie called "The Shadow'. It was released June 26, 2009 and is available for purchase. It is a movie well worth watching.

I have been following Debbie's work for years and had the opportunity to meet her at the Chopra Center in LaJolla, California, and again at the Coronado Hotel in California. Debbie's workshops focuses on that part of ourselves that we push away and that we are ashamed of. It's that part of our self that we don't like and try to hide. The shadow is sneaky and can show up as a sarcastic remark, as judgment, or in criticism. When uncovered, it often laughs, as if to soften the edges of being dishonest, cruel or unfaithful.

Carl Jung, a psychoanalysis, coined the phrase shadow to describe those places in us that are often buried deep in our unconscious. The parts of our self that we try to forget about and hope that no one sees it. Everyone has a shadow. Whenever we are not in love, joy or light, we are in the shadow.

I work with individuals and groups who want to uncover their shadow thus shedding some light onto it. They have come to a place in their life where the shadow part of them brings them so much grief and pain, that they want to get to the core of it. It takes courage to do this depth of work because we often go into those places in us that we would just as soon ignore but that keep coming up, reminding us of their existence. It's like having a thorn in our side. We're aware that it is there and yet it is illusive and shows up as addictions, distractions, anxiety and depression, to name just a few.

Throughout my years of training and self-healing, I have begun to come to a place of peace within myself, and my shadow. My sense is that the shadow's initial intention was to protect us. One of the ways that the shadow did this was to help us feel that we were connected to those around us and that we had something in common with others. We could talk negatively of someone, gossip, and "puff" ourselves up because we thought that we were better than the one that was being ridiculed. Yet, that part that we didn't like in someone else often was a part in us that we didn't like. This is where the ego plays a huge part in the shadow. If we are proven wrong, the ego expands, and if we are successful in hiding our shadow it expands as well. Often people who begin to get in touch with their shadow may have the dark night of the soul or several, where the parts of them that are no longer working show up in the middle of the night as they are trying to sleep. It's that anxiety attack that seemingly comes out of nowhere waking them from a deep peaceful slumber.

As one begins to notice the shadow and shed compassion light on it, then the true work of resolving that part can occur. Until we have compassion for that part of our self and become aware of it, as a witness, we will not be able to embrace it. The shadow shows us duality. With the dark is the light. There are saints and there are sinners. This duality allows us to see the contrast that we walk in everyday. It's finding the balance and honoring all of our self, especially the shadow. By doing this we can heal that shadowy part that has kept us from our pure essence of light, love and joy.

The times that we are in are challenging and as a result are activating many people's shadows. It's showing up as road rage, pervasive anxiety, violence, corruption, and betrayal. The shadow is appearing in ways that is evasive and often sneaks up on us when we are not conscious, when we're stressed out or tired. To become aware of our shadow and how it shows up our life is to begin noticing it. It's in the noticing that we can begin to come to terms with it, and to begin to heal that part of our self that has been deeply wounded. Give yourself permission to begin this sacred healing through gentle noticing and deep awareness. You may be very surprised at the gems you find deep within your shadows.

Scientology Volunteer Ministers Trans-Siberian Goodwill Tour by Linda Wieland

Scientology Volunteer Ministers Trans-Siberian Tour members deliver workshops in the Buryat Republic

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers Trans-Siberian Goodwill Tour has completed it's stay in Ulan-Ude, the capital of the Buryat Republic in south-central Siberia. For several months the tour has been providing workshops, seminars and one-on-one help in the region.

Teachers at a secondary school who attended a workshop on Study Technology thought what they learned would greatly benefit their students and the community at large. The workshop covered fundamental laws on learning, researched and discovered by L. Ron Hubbard. One teacher was surprised how much this applied to her students' ability to perform music. Another teacher said the information would improve her students' performance and she was grateful it was being made broadly available through the work of the Goodwill Tour.

The tour provides workshops on the many subjects covered in the Scientology Handbook, including how to cope with problems at work, how to improve relationships, raise happy children and achieve one's goals in life.

L. Ron Hubbard once wrote, "If one does not like the crime, cruelty, injustice and violence of this society, he can do something about it. He can become a Volunteer Minister and help civilize it, bring it conscience and kindness and love and freedom from travail by instilling into it trust, decency, honesty and tolerance." The Trans-Siberian Goodwill Tour is one of ten Goodwill Tours dedicated to accomplishing this purpose, bringing help to people in remote areas. For more information visit the Scientology Volunteer Ministers web site.

Scientology Course on the Human Mind Delivered in Romania by Linda Wieland

With interest high in Scientology and Dianetics a course called "The Anatomy of the Human Mind" met with great success in Timisoara, Romania.

The publication last fall of 9 Scientology and Dianetics books in Romanian has ignited tremendous interest in the subject of the human mind. Add to that the presence in the country of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers European Goodwill Tour, and demand for Scientology and Dianetics courses was inevitable.

In answer to the many requests for more information, a course was presented called "The Anatomy of the Human Mind Course." It was held in the city of Timisoara, Romania to a packed house and covered basic concepts of the Scientology religion. The course was based on a series of lectures first delivered by Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard in December 1960 and January 1961.

The course contains a precise description of the mind, how the mind works, its components, and its relationship to the individual. It addresses such things as improving memory, how past instances of pain and painful emotion affect one's life in the present and how to eradicate these ill effects.

Copies of the original lectures by L. Ron Hubbard are available in English and 15 other languages through New Era Publications Incorporated in Europe and Bridge Publications for the Americas, Africa, Asia, Australia and Oceania.

Faith Can Help You Through Recession, Adversity by Joel George

Joel George wants you to have faith.

And his message couldn't come at a better time. With unemployment reaching record levels and the economy reeling from bank failures, market lapses and multiple industry bail-outs, hope for the future is dimmer than ever.

But George, author of Signs and Visions Fulfilled from Morris Publishing (www.signsandvisions.com), has faced tough times, including an employer who cheated him out of money, false accusations of criminal activity and an accident that had him bouncing from doctor to doctor.

"When you are going through something like I have," George said, "some people do not like to see that you can still smile and have joy and be thankful to the Lord while you are going through your suffering."

George's story makes the current economic crisis pale by comparison.

It began with him falling out of a tree at work, and then being manipulated by his employers so they could avoid a worker's compensation claim and liability for the fall. At one point, they even had a doctor trying to convince him the damage to his knee didn't come from the fall, but rather, by a just-detected cancer.

After that, he was accused of selling drugs and abducting a young woman, but through it all, George held fast to his belief in God and was rewarded with happiness and joy in his faith, he said. He credited his ability to persevere to his relationship with his Pastor and the Elders of his church, and his unique outlook on the Christian religion.

"I hope that someone doesn't think that I'm trying to persuade them. I am just giving my testimony," he explained. "But as the country faces adversity and hopelessness, I just wanted to let them know that hope is not gone. Hope, perhaps the best of things, can be delivered to each of us through faith. Scripture tells us 'Act as ye have faith, and faith shall come unto thee.' I'm living proof that it works."

George expressed his belief that those who suffer can be brought closer to God as a result of their suffering. He is very steadfast in that conviction, stating that, "When you see the goodness in someone, you see God."

He is also very strong in his belief that forgiveness is a key component to a life of faith and redemption, even amidst the profiteering and fraud that seems to run rampant in the marketplace.

"You cannot get into heaven with hate in your heart," he said. "You see, if some people would turn down the hate and exercise love, we can overcome. The first thing people should do is learn how to forgive one another."

The Second Cycle by Alan Richards

Kira Blakely is a lucky girl.

She is getting a scholarship to a prestigious University, one that she would never have been able to afford. There is, however, a catch. Her last class must be one of her mysterious benefactor's choosing. When she arrives for her first day, she finds she is the only student and it is not a class, it is a paper that she must write. Her professor hands her a paper with a question on it - a question that leads her on a quest for truth.

The Second Cycle by Alan Richards, Emerald Book Company (www.emeraldbookcompany.com) is the story of a journey. Kira, Julia, Daniel and Peter embark on a journey that challenges the beliefs of major religions. Their journeys represent the myriad roads that we all may encounter when we embark upon the search for answers.

• Kira - Like most people, Kira Blakely has never considered that there could be another truth than the one she has believed all her life, until her friend Julia reenters her life. Kira's search for the truth about her mysterious benefactor leads her to a truth about her past that she never expected.

• Julia - Julia Edwards was certain in her belief in Christianity. She left college to learn more about her religion. Somewhere along the way she lost her faith, and gained a surprise.

• Daniel - After a miraculous recovery from a serious car accident, Daniel Aiello awakens to find that God has chosen him to impart certain truths. Truths that contradict the teachings of the prevailing religions.

• Peter - Peter Grayson stumbled into an internship in medical research. This research will reveal the truth behind human memory and challenge the idea that death is an ending.

When Kira and Julia meet Daniel, they are not sure if he is a prophet or delusional.

"God created a finite number of souls," said Daniel in the book. "Each soul resides in the same person for all eternity. The soul is never separated from its person. The appearance of the body will change as the soul progresses through the seven cycles of existence, but the person inside the body never changes."

The Seven Cycles of Existence, according to Richards' book, are:

• innocence • knowledge • compassion • perseverance • courage • tribulation • purity

Daniel believes that each soul must fulfill a certain number of "Achievements" in each cycle. A soul is reborn into each cycle until it has completed each of the Achievements. When the last soul has completed the last cycle and all souls are with God, then peace, love and harmony will rein.

Every year on the anniversary of his accident, Daniel falls asleep at the time of day he went into a coma. It is then that God imparts his messages to Daniel, who then awakens at the exact same time of day that he awoke from his coma.

Kira and Julia suggest to Daniel that he join Peter's research group. Peter's professor is conducting experiments on human memory. They decide that Daniel will make a fascinating subject.

Is he remembering an actual event or is he delusional? The results cause the experimenters to question their perception of truth in spirituality.

"Every religion is based upon faith," according to Daniel in the book. "Belief is unverifiable. If you're looking to believe in something you can prove, it isn't religion."

Those who have never questioned their relationship with their religion will find much to contemplate in this story. For those who have reflected upon their faith, the story of Kira, Peter, Julia and Daniel will enhance their experience. As the characters in this novel search for their spiritual identity, they learn that they cannot rely on logic alone to uncover their personal truths.

Faith The Substance Of Things by Franklin Broomfield

Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Everything in the physical world has substance. In some way or another it can be detected. And the original substance of all things is faith. If God had not released his faith in the earth there would not be anything here now. Through faith God created the worlds by his words. (Hebrews 11:3). Faith is a spiritual substance by which spiritual things become physical. There is a spiritual world. God created that world with his faith and words also. That world is just as real as the physical world.

The physical world operates by the spiritual world. Look at yourself your physical body operates by your spirit. When the spirit leaves the body it ceases to operate. The spirit world is eternal (everlasting)but the physical world is temporal (temperary or subject to change)(2Corinthians 4:18). So when the eternal comes against the temporal world the temporal has to give way to the eternal. And faith is the spiritual substance that brings the spiritual into the physical. See, faith is what gives substance to the spiritual in the physical world. And that spiritual force comes from the word of God, by hearing God's word (Romans 10:17).

Understand this that things you are trying to get faith for already exist. God said faith is the substance of things and a thing is only a thing when it exist. That thing exist in the spiritual realm. But as long as it stays spiritual only you don't benifit from it. Like your healing for instance it is spiritual. By whose stripes ye were healed is a spiritual reality. But that spiritual reality has to become a physical reality for it to benifit you. And faith is the substance that gives substance to that spiritual reality into a physical reality.

Faith is believing something is so without any physical proof. And a good example of that is the 10 lepers in Luke chapter 17 they believed Jesus words which are spiritual (John 6:63) over what they saw and felt in the physical. When Jesus sent them to the priest he was calling them healed. You only went to the priest after you've been healed for him to pronounce you clean. Believing the spiritual over the physical that's what faith is all about. Faith gave substance to this physical world. And it will continue to. Faith comes by hearing but when it comes it has to be released by speaking. When you believe you will speak (2Corinthians 4:13). God gave you his word to get his faith so that you can give substance to this physical world just as He did. That's why God made you in his image and likeness.

The Key To Success Is in Your Mouth by Franklin Broomfield

What is the key to success? The key to success is meditating on the word of God (Joshua 1:8). Notice when you meditate on the word of God you will make your way prosperous and have good success. Keeping God's word in your mouth brings success because faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). And faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). And what is in you will determine your words and actions (Matthew 15:18,19). God's word in your mouth produces success for you to walk in.

God always speaks success and increase. And by keeping God's word in your mouth it will get into your heart and the issues of life comes out of a man's heart (Proverbs 4:23). Whatever you put in your heart will manifest in your life (Mark 4:22). Notice there's nothing hid (in the heart) that shall not be manifested. So, success or failure is determined by what's in your heart. If you speak success into you then success will manifest on the outside of you.

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). And things come out of your heart by your words (Matthew 12:35). So the success you want to experience you are going to have to speak first. Set your course for success with your tongue and your words will take you there (James 3:3-5). Your words start the course to success. Your tongue is like the rudder of a ship. If you want to go where you have good success and prosper then keep your tongue set on success.

A man's level of success in set by his tongue (Proverbs 13:2). God's word in your mouth will accomplish the success that God has called for you to have (Isaiah 55:11). As always God's word is the key to success. Understanding God's method of bringing success is important. Success is a product of your mouth. If you believe God's word you will speak it (2Corinthians 4:13). And what you believe and speak you will have (Mark 11:23). Your path to success is made with your mouth. And that is the course you will travel (James 3:4).

Ten Mind Steps to an Amazing Life by Marie C. Barrett

Decide to see the world in terms of the ideals of love, joy and service. In this article we will discuss ten simple mind steps you can take that will increase your power to live the life you choose rather than a life that just happens to you.

You create your life experience, whether you believe you do or not. It's kind of like saying the law of gravity is nonsense. You can say it is so; you may believe it is so; but whether you believe in the law of gravity or not, does not change the law of gravity one little bit. So you create your experience with your beliefs and expectations. Life is about viewpoint and attitude and that is why life tends to give us what we expect.

However we can break out of this confining, limiting, constrictive space where we play a victim role if that is where we find ourselves from time to time. You protest you do not play victim, but unless you deliberately create your experience and design it the way you want, then you are letting fate cast your lot in life. Now we will see how we can take control by using our mind to create our reality and experience.

1. Realize you will never have all the answers and that the way life unfolds is fundamentally a mystery.

2. Ask this question and write down your answer: How can I make a difference for others?

3. Then do what you feel inspired to do. Be willing to take real action steps to take you to the next level. Write down these action steps first.

4. Any project or service worth pursuing will attract criticism and resistance. Take these in your stride. Any energy directed at you, you can turn to your advantage. It's all energy; it's what we do with it that counts. If you do not attract resistance, it means no-one is paying attention.

5. Realize that behind every desire we have, lies a deeper desire. Tune in to your intuition to learn what You are teaching yourself. Only when you have experienced what you teach will your teaching move others.

6. You cannot run away from yourself. Where ever you go, you will be there. Who ever you see, it is your reflection. Your life mirrors who you have chosen to be up till now. Tomorrow you can write a different story if you want to.

7. Realize that of the countless beings living courtesy of Creator, you are unique. You are no accident; you are already perfect but you just do not realize it yet. Use the torch of joy to light your way.

8. Where you find no love in your life, put love, and you will find it. To inject love, BE and FEEL love. The same goes for joy, kindness, fun and whatever else you desire.

9. Regard everyone you meet as your father, mother, sister, brother, son or daughter, according to age and circumstance. You are related by love to every person who touches your life. Relate consciously.

10. Be grateful for all things. Gratitude places your focus on positive experience, and what you focus on (energize) you create and attract more.

These ten mind steps of conscious living will help you create the life and experience you desire. You are the creator of your life. So what's on tomorrow's menu?

Religulous

One of our goals in creating this site was to encourage some new ways of thinking about things. With that in mind our topic today is the film Religulous by Bill Maher. A friend of ours introduced us to the movie and we were quite simply blown away by it. Let's get the disclaimer's out of the way first. We defend the right of anyone and everyone to worship what and or whomever they wish. We are not questioning the validity of any religion, we are questioning the validty of all religions. In the film Mr. Maher identifies some anomalies particularly in western religions that would give pause to anyone with a truly open mind. One factoid in particular about how the entire story of Jesus can be traced to an earlier religion we found absolutely amazing. Why hasn't that been brought up before? Mr. Maher points out that about 16% of the U.S. population is unaffiliated with any organized religion making us one of the largest minorities in the country. Given the damage that he believes (and we concur) religion has done to our society he is calling for us to stop being the polite silent minority and start speaking openly about our concerns. We have heard it said many times that religion has been the reason behind more wars and thus more deaths than any other motive. It is still today used as an excuse to dismiss, villify, and ostracize people who are different. We need to shift our belief system for a god who would smote our neighbors because they believe differently than us to a system that relies on the brotherhood of men. We need to say enough is enough, that we are going to stop a system that encourages hatred and mistrust. We need to embrace one another be we black or white, woman or man, gay or straight, old or young, rich or poor and say not that we are all god's children but rather that we are all equal and that for any of us to prosper going forward we must treat each other with respect.

While we worry about the impact of religion we can take some things from it. One quote that comes to mind is 'treat others as you would have others treat you'. We don't need religious leaders asking poor people for donations to acheive that. by Partner999
